Carousel cake

The new Carousel horse stamps on Chocolate Baroque reminded me of my 5th birthday cake. It was a shop bought cake that was decorated by my father to look like a roundabout. It was the first of several, the later ones had candy sugar twists supporting the canopy, but I can't find pictures of the later ones.
Cousin Margaret is in the picture on the left and I am lurking behind the cake in the picture on the right.

June Tags for Chocolate Baroque swap

It was a lovely sunny morning and after all the rain yesterday it seemed like a good day for a bit of digging in the garden. I have a Chusan palm in a pot which is looking distressed so it needs to go in the ground but it requires a BIG hole!!
But now the sun has gone in.............anyway here are some more visual delights.

Lilies in the garden

Clearly nothing to do with tags, but I wanted to share!!

All good things come to those who wait!!

....as promised the picture of the altered matchbox.
I forgot to take a picture of the inside, but I did include a recipe for the most scrumptious pudding. I wonder if Sue has made it yet?
